The Importance of Trust in the Automotive Industry

Bill Nalu has built his whole business around the trust of his customers. In fact, it’s because of an experience he had as a teenager that trust has become a founding principal in all that he does. Growing up in the Motor City, Bill always had a passion for cars, so when it came time to buy his first one he couldn’t have been more excited. He recalls driving across town with his father to a used car lot, picking out the two-door (as any wise 16-year-old would do) and telling his father it was the one he wanted. His father, however, felt differently, trying to explain to Bill that maybe he shouldn’t buy the car, but Bill cut him off, told him it was the one he wanted, and his father let him buy it with his own hard earned cash. Sure enough, the car broke down on the way home, just two miles away from their house. As a result, Bill had to take auto mechanics in high school, and it was at that time that the value of trust was instilled in him. He remembers his teacher telling them about fuel additives and learning that Techron was the top shelf brand. The rest, as they say, is history. Bill’s been a loyal Techron user ever since, because he feels good about putting a trusted product into his customers’ cars, keeping them safe and happy, and keeping their trust.
