Steam, Hydroelectric & Gas Turbines Texaco Regal® Premium EP oils are design to meet the critical lubrication needs of combined cycle turbines, large heavy-duty industrial gas turbines, and gas and steam turbines with and without loaded gearboxes. Texaco Regal® Premium EP oils have exceptional high temperature thermal stability, oxidation resistance and low sludging potential. They also incorporate corrosion inhibition and have excellent water separation. The oils meet or exceed OEM requirements, including those from General Electric, Siemens Westinghouse, Solar, Cincinnati Lamp, British Standar, DIN and ASTM. Texaco Regal® Premium EP Oils are designed for gas, steam, and hydroelectic turbine bearing lubrication. They have outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, plus nonvolatile oxidation and corrosion inhibition. Additional Texaco Gas turbine lubricants:
- Texaco Regal® R&O – multifunction lubricants recommended for use in electric motor bearings, air compressors, high speed gears, hydroelectric turbines, steam turbines and combustion turbine generators.
- Texaco Regal SGT 22 – designed for modified aviation-type gas turbines exposed to the most severe operating environments in non-aviation applications, such as industrial power generation.
 Gas & Diesel Engines Gas engines – Texaco Geotex LA Gas Engine oils are high performance, specially inhibited oils for the lubrication of heavy-duty stationary gas and steam turbines. They are also ideal for lubrication of rotating machinery in combined-cycle cogeneration units. Incorporating an ashless, low volatility, antioxidant package, they offer excellent oxidation stability, low deposit forming capabilities in high temperature areas, protect against rust and corrosion, and offer rapid separation of water and release of entrained air. Heavy-duty, turbo-charged diesel engines with extended drain interval approval from major engine manufacturers, API CI-4 Plus – Texaco Ursa® Premium TDX super high-performance diesel engine oil 4-cycle gasoline engines and all naturally aspirated, turbocharged and supercharged diesel engines in a variety of service, API CI-4 Plus – Texaco Ursa® Super Plus High performance crankcase oil for diesel engines meeting API CF-2 and CD-II, CF and CD – Texaco Ursa® Extra Duty
Industrial Coolants
Texaco Extended Life Coolant System includes patented technology that keeps cooling systems running cooler, cleaner, and with less downtime. Recommended for virtually all diesel and natural gas engines, Texaco Extended Life Coolant meets the requirements of many manufacturers, including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel. Outstandng protection and long fluid service life mean lower maintenance costs, reduced inventory costs from long storage life, and broad usage across different engine types. Industrial Greases Texaco Starplex® greases are premium quality, mineral oil based, multipurpose lithium complex, extreme pressure greases for a variety of industrial applications. They are recommended as multipurpose industrial greases where elevated operating temperature is a concern. Providing excellent rust and corrosion protection and resistance to water washout, they are particularly effective in providing wear protection under high loads and shock load service.
Additional Texaco industrial greases:
- Texaco Polystar® Synthetic 4602 – specially formulated R&O polyurea grease containing a synthetic base fluid with excellent resistance to water, corrosion and oxidation. It does not contain an EP additive and can be used for the lubrication of ball and roller bearings in industrial applications.
- Texaco Multifak® EP – multipurpose lithium soap greases that contain extreme pressure additives and offer outstanding protection against rust and oxidation, good pumpability, high shear and high temperature stability, plus resistance to water washout. They can be used on low and high speed plain bearings, presses, and roller and needle bearings. 68, 100, 150.
Bearings & Gears Texaco Meropa® Gear Lubricants are premium extreme pressure gear lubricants that are a standard for reliability, consistency and performance around the world. Proven in rigorous tests and real-world applications, Meropa® Gear Lubricants offer high thermal and oxidation stability, excellent foam control and outstanding demulsibility. They are designed to extend service life by minimizing wear, and are recommended wherever AGMA extreme pressure lubricant is specified. Meropa® Gear Lubricants meet or exceed EP Gear Oil requirements of AGMA 9005, U.S. Steel specification 224, and Cincinnati Machine. ISO viscosity grades 68 through 460 are suitable for use in Bijur oil application equipment. Texaco Pinnacle® – synthetic circulating/non-EP bearing and gear lubricants that are formulated to provide outstanding lubrication for industrial bearings and gears, such as worm gears, that require an R&O type synthetic gear oil. Pinnacle oils function within wide operating temperature ranges and are especially effective in high temperature applications. Additional Power Generation Lubricants
