These products include a range of hydraulic fluids, compressor oils, gear oils, turbine oils, metalworking fluids, greases and coolants that help ensure the reliable operation and long service life of your equipment.

Industrial Hydraulic Fluids
Texaco Rando® Oils are designed to give maximum protection to hydraulic pumps. They are recommended for hydraulic or circulating oil systems, including hydraulic actuated loading bins or equipment that runs at various operating temperatures. Texaco Rando oils meet all major pump manufacturers including Vickers, Racine, Cincinnati Machine and Denison. Texaco Rando® HD – premium hydraulic oils designed to meet all major pump manufacturers requirements for protection of vane- and piston-type hydraulic pumps. Texaco Rando® HD Ashless – are premium, inherently biodegradable, ashless hydraulic oils. May also be used for machine tools and presses, plastic injection molding machines, air compressors and speed reducers. Texaco Rando® HDZ – are premium quality, shear stable, high VI, antiwear hydraulic oils.
 Industrial Gear Lubricants
Texaco Meropa® Gear Lubricants are premium extreme pressure gear lubricants that are a standard for reliability, consistency and performance around the world. Proven in rigorous tests and real-world applications, Meropa Gear Lubricants offer high thermal and oxidation stability, excellent foam control and demulsibility. They are designed to extend service life by minimizing wear, and are recommended wherever AGMA extreme pressure lubricant is specified. Texaco Meropa® Gear Lubricants meet or exceed EP Gear Oil requirements of AGMA 9005, U.S. Steel specification 224, and Cincinnati Machine. ISO viscosity grades 68 through 460 are suitable for use in Bijur oil application equipment.
Additional Texaco gear lubricants:
- Texaco Industrial Gear Oil EP – recommended for all industrial enclosed gearing and wherever an AGMA extreme pressure lubricant is required.
- Texaco Pinnacle® EP – high-quality, high-performance, synthetic industrial gear lubricants designed for industrial equipment operating under heavy load or shock loading, elevated temperatures or water contamination.
- Texaco Pinnacle® EP meets or exceeds EP Gear Oil requirements of U.S. Steel specification 224, AGMA 9005, and Cincinnati Machine.
Air Compressors & Circulating SystemsTexaco Cetus® PAO – high quality synthetic lubricants designed to provide outstanding performance in air compressors, especially portable and stationary rotary, vane, and screw compressors. Compatible with most elastomeric seal materials. Texaco Texatherm® – highly refined, thermally stable paraffinic oil for use as a hot oil medium in open and closed heat transfer systems. It is formulated to meet the oxidation requirements of circulating hot oil systems.
Metalworking Fluids Texaco Cleartex® and Texaco Cleartex® CF – tri-purpose, anti-mist oils for use as cutting oils, machine tool lubricants and hydraulic fluids in machine tools such as automatic screw machines and NC/CNC machining centers. Texaco Transultex® and Transultex® CF – light colored, anti-mist, active sulfur cutting oils designed for use in moderate to severe machining operations. Available in different EP levels and viscosity grades. Texaco Soluble Oils – formulated to emulsify easily and form stable emulsions in a wide range of water hardness while providing excellent cooling and lubricity in grinding and machining operations. Texaco Soluble Oil D is a general-purpose oil for light machining and is recommended for grinding operations where very clean emulsions are required. Texaco Soluble Oil XL is design for extra lubricity in the machining of aluminum or ferrous alloys. Texaco Quenchtex® – allow uniform hardening of steels during rapid cooling with minimum distortion and discoloration, while improving grain structure and long service life. Hardness, strength, ductility, and toughness can be controlled using the proper Texaco Quenchtex® fluid and quenching techniques.
Pulp & Paper Mills
The next generation circulating oils for the pulp and paper industry, Texaco PMO Lubricants are formulated with highly refined mineral oils and additives. Texaco PMO Ashless oils are recommened for centralized lubrication systems including paper machines operating under severe conditions, including those with water contamination and high temperatures. Recommended for Valmet, Beloit, and Voith Sulzer brand machines.
Texaco PMO Premium oils are especially effective in dryer sections and calendar stacks. Also recommended for controlled crown rolls, suction box pumps, vacuum and white water pumps, reduction gears, and gear-head motors.
Industrial GreasesTexaco Starplex® Greases are premium quality, mineral oil based, multipurpose lithium complex, extreme pressure greases for a variety of industrial applications. They are recommended as multipurpose industrial greases where elevated operating temperature is a concern. Providing outstanding rust and corrosion protection and resistance to water washout, they are particularly effective in providing wear protection under high loads and shock load service.
Additional Texaco industrial greases:
- Texaco Polystar® Synthetic 4602 – specially formulated R&O polyurea grease containing a synthetic base fluid with excellent resistance to water, corrosion and oxidation. It does not contain an EP additive and can be used for the lubrication of ball and roller bearings in industrial applications.
- Texaco Multifak® EP – multipurpose lithium soap greases that contain extreme pressure additives and offer outstanding protection against rust and oxidation, good pumpability, high shear and high temperature stability, plus resistance to water washout. They can be used on low and high speed plain bearings, presses, and roller and needle bearings.
