Chevron Products for Manufacturing

Chevron's line of premium lubricants is formulated with industry-leading technology to satisfy some of the most stringent lubrication applications as well as to meet critical OEM specifications. In tandem with our lubrication marketers, we can leverage our knowledge to provide the most dependable products for all your industrial applications.

Industrial Hydraulic Fluids
Chevron Rykon® Premium Oils are designed to give maximum protection to hydraulic pumps. A multiviscosity feature allows even and continuous power transmission over a wide temperature range with a minimum of shudder, and increased accuracy. They are recommended for hydraulic or circulating oil systems, including hydraulic actuated loading bins or equipment that runs at various operating temperatures. Chevron Rykon® Premium Oils meet all major pump manufacturers including Vickers, Racine, Cincinnati Machine and Denison.

Additional Chevron hydraulic lubricants include:
  • Chevron Rykon® Oils AW - vane- or gear-type hydraulic pumps, especially with pressures greater than 1000 psi; lightly loaded reciprocating compressors.
  • Chevron Clarity® Hydraulic Oils AW - high performance industrial applications utilizing axial piston pumps where pressures may exceed 5000 psi, and where applications are situated in environmentally sensitive areas.

Metalworking Fluids
Chevron offers a full line of metalworking fluids that protect critical machine parts and extend the life of valuable equipment. Chevron also offers high performance chlorine-free comprise compounded cutting oils that feature anti-mist properties and are formulated to cover practically all metalworking requirements. The severity of the machining operation and the machinability of the metal are the criteria for selecting the proper cutting oil.
  • Chevron Elite-Cut® Fluids - Chlorinated straight cutting and grinding oils. Non-staining oils (NL, NM, NH) can be used as dual- or tri-purpose oils in splash, hydraulic or spindle lubrication systems of metalworking machines. The AM, AH, AXH and AD metalworking fluids contain active sulfur.
  • Chevron Bright-Cut® Fluids - Chlorine-free straight cutting and grinding oils. Unique synthetic anti-weld components replace the chlorine and reduce the amount of sulfur and fat typically needed for difficult cutting operations. Light in color, Bright-Cut fluids provide improved visibility during machining and are low in odor.
  • Cutting and grinding fluids for machine shop operations – Chevron Soluble Oils
  • Quenching oils – Chevron Quenching Oil 70
  • Slides and ways of machine tools - Chevron Way Oils Vistac®

Pulp and Paper Machines
Chevron Clarity® Paper Machine Oils are ashless, next-generation circulating oils for the pulp and paper industry. They deliver Pall wet filterability, excellent water separability, and meet FZG, Timken, and AGMA EP performance requirements. Recommended for use in all circulating systems including wet-end systems, drayer bearings, and calendar stacks.
Chevron Clarity® Synthetic Machine Oils provide high temperature stability. They had exceptional performance in the ASTM D 943 Turbine Oil Stability Test, and are recommended for extreme temperature bearing and circulating oil systems.Back to Top
Industrial Greases
Chevron Ulti-Plex® Greases EP are multipurpose, high-performance greases specially formulated for extreme pressure bearing applications operating under high and low temperature conditions (from -26°C to 177°C/-15°F to 350°F). They are ideal for a wide variety of industrial applications, including severe service applications in paper and forestry, steel mill applications and marine operations requiring high rust and corrosion inhibitors.
Chevron Ulti-Plex® Synthetic Grease EP multipurpose grease is ideal for applications with temperatures up to 232°C (450°F), with a dropping point of approximately 288°C (550°F).
