Diesel Engines
Texaco produces Ursa engine oils for a range of diesel engine applications. Whether managing a mix of engines in a fleet of vehicles, or lubricating a truck or bus you own and operate, Ursa maximizes drain intervals, helps reduce engine maintenance and protects against wear.

Ursa Premium TDX 15W-40 Multigrade formulated for a wide variety of heavy-duty diesel engines, turbocharged engines with extended drain intervals, and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) equipped engines using high- and low-sulfur fuels. Meets service and manufacturers requirements, including API CI-4, CH-4, CG-4, SL, SJ, SH, SG; Global DHD-1; Cummins CES 20078, 20077; MAN M3275; Mack EO-M-PLUS; Mercedes Benz 228.3; Volvo VDS-2.
Ursa Super TD 15W-40 Multigrade for diesel and gasoline engines operating across a wide temperature range, especially mixed fleets with four-stroke diesel and gasoline engines. Meets service and manufacturers requirements, including CH-4, CG-4, SJ, SH, SG; Cummins 20076, 20071; Mack EO-M-PLUS; Mercedes Benz 228.1.
Ursa LA-3 15W-40 and 25W-50 Multigrades meet the requirements of diverse equipment manufacturers and can be used in mixed fleets. Meets service and manufacturers requirements, including CF-4, CF, CD, SG, SF; Mercedes Benz 228.1 (SAE 15W-40).

Texaco lubricating fluids are available for both automatic and manual transmissions, differentials and oil-lubricated steering axle wheel bearings.

Light- and Heavy-duty Truck Transmissions Texaco Multigear EP is designed  for transmission, conventional differentials and steering gears.

Automatic Transmission Texaco Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (PDF) is a heavy-duty solution that meets the performance requirements of Allison TES 295 for severe duty and extended drain intervals. Meets or exceeds Allison C-4, Ford MERCON, GM DEXRON-III, Voith and ZF performance requirements.

Cooling and Heat-transfer Systems
Texaco coolants reduce water pump sealant wear, protect metal alloys found in heat transfer systems, and meet or exceed requirements for heavy-duty diesel service (ASTM D 5345 and ASTM D 4985).
Cooling Systems Texaco Extended Life Coolant System consists of Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze, Extended Life Prediluted 50/50 Coolant/Antifreeze, and Texaco Extender prescribed recharge.
