ROUSSE, Bulgaria – 7 July 2006 – SA Texaco Belgium NV, part of Chevron Global Lubricants, today announced the sale of the company's 25 percent shareholding in Prista Oil AD to Marsdale International LLC. Chevron Global Lubricants and Prista Oil AD have also reached a supply agreement under which Prista Oil will continue to market and distribute Texaco-branded lubricants, greases and coolant products in Bulgaria.
Barbara Burger, vice president of Supply Chain for Chevron Global Lubricants, said: "The joint venture between Chevron and Prista Oil has been a success since its inception in 2000. However, the time is right for an agreement that will allow both parties to develop their respective interests in the region.
